Due to unprecedented demand for Stetson and potential shipping delays during the holiday season, we recommend you shop early to get your gifts on time.

To receive your order by 12/24, below are the cutoff times for each shipping service we offer.

  • Standard Ground: order by 12/18 at noon CST
  • 2-Day: order by 12/22 at noon CST
  • Overnight: order by 12/23 at noon CST

2025 Holiday Return Policy Purchases made from November 7, 2025 - December 15, 2025 may be returned through January 15, 2026.

Boots: Enjoy free return shipping for all boot purchases within 30 days of delivery.
Other Items: If you’re not completely satisfied with your order, you can return it for a refund within 30 days of delivery. Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method for the merchandise purchase price, minus a $10.00 shipping charge for each use of our prepaid shipping labels.

  • Items must be returned unworn, unwashed with the original tags attached.
  • Items shipped in Stetson branded boxes must be repacked and shipped as received.
  • We can only accept returns for purchases made at www.stetson.com
  • Refunds are issued to the original form of payment.
  • Fragrances, and Gift cards are FINAL SALE.
  • Shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable.

Once we receive your return, your refund will be issued within 7-10 business days. You will be notified via email once your return has been processed.

Please note your banking or credit card institution may require additional days to process and post transactions to your account which may take up to 2 weeks for your credit to be acknowledged.

Items purchased at www.stetson.com cannot be returned or exchanged at any other participating retail store or online store that offers Stetson merchandise. We cannot accept returns on items that were not purchased at www.stetson.com.

You may also pay to return your item using the shipping method of your choice. Please include your packing list and a detailed reason why you are requesting a refund and ship to:

We are happy to offer exchanges on boots and apparel for all purchases within 30 days of delivery, in case the style you purchased does not fit.

At the moment, we are offering exchanges for the same style in a different size only. If you wish to purchase a different style, you can start a return and place a new order.

Received a Damaged Item?

If your boots or apparel arrived damaged, you can request an exchange through our Exchange Portal.

To assist our team in reviewing your request, please upload clear photos showing the damage.

If you received a damaged hat, please reach out to our Client Services team at help@stetson.com and include images of the issue in your email.

Can I exchange a hat?

At the moment, we are not offering exchanges on hats.

When will my exchange order ship?

To allow your exchange order to ship, you first need to ship the item you wanted to exchange.

Your exchange order will ship as soon as we receive a notification from our carrier confirming that the item you wanted to exchange has been picked up.

FAQ

How will I know when Stetson.com receives my return package?

As soon as we receive and process your return we will email a confirmation to the email address you provided on your original order. Note, if there is a refund due, this refund will be noted in your email confirmation and typically shows up on your credit card account within 10 business days (depending on your credit card) or by your next credit card statement.

What is a good guideline when I should expect to receive an email confirmation that my return package has been accepted and processed?

Allow 1-3 weeks for your return to be processed. This takes in consideration the transit time of the return package back to us, a full warehouse inspection of the returned item(s) and credit processing of your return paperwork. As soon as your return is processed you will receive an email confirmation.
