This limited-edition boot combines a timeless western silhouette with luxury materials to create a boot worthy of our 160th anniversary. It features a chocolate caiman vamp—prized for its distinctive texture and natural variation—paired with a 13” wine leather shaft with intricate embroidery and a versatile R toe. An all-leather sole, crafted with lemonwood pegs and brass nails, and a hand-stacked leather heel provides a firm foundation, while a cushioned leather insole and premium cowhide leather lining ensure all-day comfort.

The 160th Anniversary Collection celebrates John B. Stetson’s founding of his namesake company in 1865 and embodies his original commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Each limited-edition boot is marked by a signature Five Dollar Gold Coin stamp—a nod to the price paid for the first Stetson ever sold, by John B. Stetson to a passing bullwhacker in the Colorado Rockies in the early 1860s—and a gold “160” embroidered detail.

THE STETSON STANDARD

Time-honored

Crafted by Hand

From rugged roughouts to rare exotics, our leathers are selected for their durability as well as their appearance. They are then cut, stretched, and shaped in a hand-lasting process that ensures our boots will only get more comfortable with time and wear.

Made to last

A Solid Foundation

Premium brass nails and lemonwood pegs—which expand and contract at the same rate as leather as they encounter moisture—are hammered into the sole by hand. A hand-stacked leather heel provides comfort in every step, and welt construction allows our boots to be resoled as needed.

Singular Style

The Details that Differentiate

Inside and out and from heel to toe, our boots are defined by their attention to detail, from roper boots with subtle hand-corded shafts and hand-stitched accents on classic R-toes to statement-making women’s styles.

Legendary quality

More Than 200 Steps

It takes more than 200 steps to craft each Stetson boot, all performed by skilled craftspeople in the legendary boot-making capital of León, Mexico. The result? Boots that are worthy of the Stetson name, designed for all-day comfort and rugged durability over the long haul.

Since 1865

True Heritage

Our story begins in the 1860s, when John B. Stetson was prospecting for gold in the Colorado Rockies and, struck by a sudden rainstorm, quickly fashioned a felt hat for protection. The modern cowboy hat was born, and more than a century and a half later, John B.’s pioneering legacy and commitment to quality live on in everything we make, from headwear and apparel to our handcrafted boots.
