Our boots are made with the same care and consideration that goes into our legendary headwear, resulting in the ultimate mix of heel-to-toe comfort, rugged durability, and timeless western style. Crafted in the bootmaking capital of León, Mexico—where the tradition of creating frontier-ready leather footwear dates back to the mid-17th century— each pair takes approximately 40 hours and 200 individual steps to complete. They are lasted, stitched and tooled entirely by hand, using high-quality leathers that will develop an attractive patina over time and welt construction that allows them to be resoled as needed. Equally fit for days on the range or nights on the town, they’re made to go the extra mile.

The Carlisle Western Boot features a cowhide vamp and 13” corded cowhide shaft. It has an R toe—a classic all-purpose style that also dresses up well. Its quality construction includes 3/4 welt leather soles with brass nails and lemonwood pegs, premium leather lining and a removable Tru-X insole that ensures comfort and support in every step.

SETTING THE STANDARD

Since 1865

True Heritage

Our story begins in the 1860s, when John B. Stetson was prospecting for gold in the Colorado Rockies and, struck by a sudden rainstorm, quickly fashioned a felt hat for protection. The modern cowboy hat was born, and more than a century and a half later, John B.’s pioneering legacy and commitment to quality live on in everything we make, from headwear and apparel to our handcrafted boots.

Crafted to last

Legendary Quality

Crafted by hand in the legendary boot-making capital of León, Mexico, our ropers, exotics, and traditional cowboy boots are made the old fashioned way, using only the finest materials and time-tested techniques. The result? Boots that are worthy of the Stetson name, designed for all-day comfort and rugged durability over the long haul.

Worn the world over

Singular Style

Each pair of Stetson boots is unique—because no two pairs are worn the same way. Whether you wear yours on horseback or a city sidewalk, when you put them on, you’re joining a community of true individuals unified in their appreciation of enduring quality and style that transcends trend.
