Lindsey Thornburg, a New Yorker by way of Montana and Colorado, knows all too well the challenges of enduring unforgiving winters. Her dedication to staying warm and expressing her unique style led to the creation of her own line of outerwear, repurposing classic Pendleton blankets into her signature western-inspired cloaks, dusters and jackets. Since 2011, she’s officially collaborated with Pendleton Woolen Mills, which has been weaving world-class woolens in their two Pacific Northwest mills for more than a century.
At the heart of the Stetson x Lindsey Thornburg collaboration lies The Gatekeeper, an archival Pendleton blanket originally introduced in 1935, that Stetson and Lindsey Thornburg reworked with a reinterpreted color story that’s exclusive to the collection.
This limited-edition jacquard blanket has an unnapped wool face for a sharp, crisp pattern, with cotton added to the warp for extra stability, and a felt-bound edge. The result is a throw with rich color and heirloom quality—a bold centerpiece for any room.
