This limited-edition trucker hat commemorates the recent centennial of one of the most famous western paintings of all time, Lon Megargee’s “The Last Drop from His Stetson.” The image, which depicts a compassionate cowboy kneeling to give his horse a drink of water from his upturned hat, is an emblem of the Stetson brand and endures as a symbol of Stetson’s heritage and values and has been featured on hat boxes, posters, and, most famously, the liners of some of our most iconic hats.
Here, Megargee’s painting is presented as a detailed panoramic print on a classic trucker hat with a throwback style similar to the one worn by Dean Stockwell’s character in Wim Wenders’ acclaimed 1984 film Paris, Texas. The hat features a foam front, a breathable mesh back, a gently curved bill and an adjustable snapback closure for a secure, comfortable fit. Available in a limited quantity of 144.
